COON RAPIDS RESIDENT WINS $50,000 LOTTERY PRIZE

Patricia Gruening of Coon Rapids won $50,000 by playing the Lottery’s $500,000 Cash Explosion® scratch game. Gruening claimed the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on Aug. 31.

SuperAmerica, located at 1750 White Bear Ave. in Maplewood, sold the winning ticket.

The $500,000 Cash Explosion® scratch game is a $20 ticket that offers a top prize of $500,000. Each ticket is a blast of fun games and 35 chances to win. There are currently three of four $500,000 top prizes and four of five $50,000 prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning a prize by playing $500,000 Cash Explosion® are 1 in 3.04.
