LANSING - A $50,000 Win for Life Raffle prize has been claimed by Vincent Martini of Walled Lake!
Martini hid the winning ticket in a safety deposit box until he cashed it at the Lottery's Sterling Heights office. The lucky ticket was purchased at the Novi Party Store, 43025 Grand River Ave., in Novi.
The top Win For Life prize, which was $1,000 a week for life, was claimed by an anonymous player who purchased the winning ticket at VG's Food #1934, 6764 S. River Rd., in Marine City.
12 additional winners have claimed $50,000 prizes, including DeAndre Jamison of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; Ann Veshka of Wyandotte; Paul Gilbert of Safety Harbor; Wilbert Sherrod of Detroit; Bob Loving of Taylor; Richard Otter of Inkster; and six players who wished to remain anonymous. Six prizes worth $50,000 remain unclaimed.
The Win For Life Raffle was the Lottery's 12th raffle to date. Featured was one top prize of $1,000 a week for life, 25 prizes of $50,000 and 10,000 prizes of $100.
