Jessica Lopez of West Roxbury won a grand prize on the $100,000 A Year for Life game from the Massachusetts State Lottery. Lopez, who opted for a lump sum payment, received a check for $650,000 today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree.
She bought the lucky ticket at White Hen on Centre Street in West Roxbury. The market will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
$100,000 A Year for Life, a $10 instant game, features 10 instant prizes of $100,000 A Year for Life (minimum $2 million) and 25 instant prizes of $1 million. Overall, there are more than 11 million winning tickets in the game.
