POST FALLS MAN WINS $50,000 ON POWERBALL / POWERPLAY

Boise – “I was screaming so much that I lost my voice!” described Patrick Shadduck, Post Falls, on his reaction to winning $50,000 on Powerball last Saturday night. “I still don’t believe it. I’m really in shock.”
Shadduck’s winning ticket matched four of five numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. Being a regular player of Powerball, Shadduck’s ticket also had the PowerPlay option which, for $1 more per play, multiplied his non-jackpot winnings by five, turning his $10,000 prize into a big $50,000 winner.
“We just missed the jackpot by one number. We had 16 and the fifth number was 6,” added Shadduck, who works as concrete pourer. “This is really incredible.”
The winning ticket was sold at Super 1 Foods in Post Falls. For their part in selling the winning ticket, Super 1 Foods receives a bonus of $5,000 from the Idaho Lottery.
Shadduck said his immediate plan for the windfall was to invest the money into savings.
