ANOTHER VIRGINIA TICKET WINS $1,000 PER WEEK FOR LIFE

Somebody, somewhere, has a piece of paper worth $1,000 per week for the rest of that person’s life. That Virginia Lottery ticket matched the first six numbers in the August 26, 2009, Win For Life drawing. Now the question is: Who has that ticket?
It was purchased at Diamond Springs Citgo, located at 1560 Diamond Springs Road in Virginia Beach. The store receives a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
The winning numbers were 2-11-13-16-17-33 and the Free Ball number was 28. Virginia Lottery officials are waiting for the winner to come forward and claim his or her prize.
There have now been 26 lifetime winners in Virginia since the first Win For Life drawing on March 1, 2006. Win For Life drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11:00.
