“DAILY NUMBERS” & “LUCKY 7 BINGO” PLAYERS STRIKE IT BIG

This week started off right for some Rhode Island Lottery players.
A Middletown man won $33,750 on yesterday’s Daily Number. The winning combination was 5 5 5 4. He played a $5 4-digit combo wager on one ticket winning $31,250. The winner said he picked those numbers because he works for a construction company and he likes to play the address of the houses he’s working on, which in this case was 5554. He also played a $5 wager on a 3-digit straight bet, using the numbers 5 5 5, and winning $2,500. The winner said he also likes to play all the same digits. Elaine’s Country Store on Fish Road in Tiverton sold both winning tickets.
In addition, a woman from Woonsocket, RI, claimed $10,000 after winning a top prize on the “Lucky 7 Bingo” instant ticket. She wasn’t sure what she’d do with the money, but she had her children with her and promised to take them on a little shopping spree today. She bought her winning ticket from Stop Quick Mart at 814 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket.
