PLAYER CLAIMS HOT LOTTO PRIZE
August 4, 2009
Curtis Pond of Billings has claimed a $30,000 Hot Lotto prize from Montana Lottery headquarters. Pond bought his winning ticket from the Blue Basket on 2347 Main Street in Billings for the July 22 drawing.

Pond matched five white balls and had the Sizzler option, winning the $30,000 prize. Sizzler (which costs $1 extra per play) is an option that will multiply any winnings except the jackpot by three times. If Pond had not added Sizzler, his prize would have been just $10,000.

Pond is a regular Hot Lotto player. He always adds the Sizzler and uses Quick Pick numbers. Pond plans to use the money for upcoming expenses.

Hot Lotto is a multistate Lottery game played in 13 States and the District of Columbia. The jackpot was not hit on Saturday night and rolled to an estimated $14.58 Million.
