Tim Kuhl of Rice said, “I never thought I’d win the Lottery.” That changed on July 29 when Kuhl discovered he was the sole winner of a $55,684 Northstar Cash jackpot.
The second line on Kuhl’s quick-pick ticket matched all five winning numbers (2-5-6-7-8) drawn on July 28. He purchased the winning ticket at Twin Rivers Convenience Store, located at 118 Twin Rivers Court in Sartell.
To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn.
Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
