SIMI VALLEY INSURANCE SALESMAN CLAIMS $150,000 TICKET

SACRAMENTO – Dylan Drobitsch, a 25-year-old shipping insurance salesman from Simi Valley, stepped forward today to claim his prize at the California Lottery’s Van Nuys district office. Drobitsch hit five of six numbers in last Tuesday night’s MEGA Millions® draw. His ticket is worth $154,640.
This is the second time in a week that a Simi Valley resident has claimed a Lottery prize. Just last week a fellow resident claimed a $10 million SuperLotto Plus® jackpot. Ironically, Drobitsch learned of his win by checking his ticket at the same gas station where the $10 million ticket was sold.
“When I scanned the ticket I thought the scanner was broken” said Drobitsch “I couldn’t believe it, I kept telling myself ‘Don’t let this be a dream!’” Luckily, his doubts were soon put to rest when the store clerk confirmed his winning ticket. “Everyone in the gas station cheered and gave me high-fives. It was an awesome feeling,” he said.
Drobitsch does not have any immediate plans for his prize money. He did, however, say that he would be treating his family to a nice dinner and that he would go on a vacation sometime in the near future.
The winning MEGA Millions ticket was purchased at G&G Mobil, which is located at 1099 East Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley. The winning numbers were 50, 8, 21, 3, 52 and the Mega number was 2.
