NEW CARS AND LOTS OF CASH ON “MAKE ME A MILLIONAIRE”
August 1, 2009
SACRAMENTO - The California Lottery's TV game show, "Make Me a Millionaire," awarded $221,500 in cash and prizes to 12 lucky contestants this week.

Rich Lee, a self-described “banker by day, riffraff by night” from Daly City, won $90,000 playing the Safe Cracker game. Lee has the distinction of winning the largest Safe Cracker prize to date and is looking forward to spending his money any way he can.

Two contestants on this week’s Lucky Penny game segment won a new car. Linda Green, a recent retiree from Sacramento, and Brandon Whatley of Camp Pendleton were both “excited and nervous” while playing the game but ecstatic to be taking home their new wheels.
