PERKINS WOMAN WINS $30,000 PLAYING POWERBALL WITH POWER PLAY
July 14, 2009
Oklahoma City – Bettie Church of Perkins has an unexpected $30,000 in her budget this month from playing Powerball with Power Play. By adding Power Play for only $1, she tripled her original win of $10,000.

Church purchased her ticket at her regular retailer, the On Cue Express at 124 N. Main in Perkins.

“They are friendly and close to my home,” Church said, who thought she had won $10K when she checked her ticket at the store. “My granddaughter told me I had won $30K but I didn’t believe her until I came to the Lottery headquarters to claim my ticket.”

Church received her winning numbers through Quick Pick and said she plans on using her new cash to pay bills.
