RALEIGH — Jason Terry said he was “a little shocked” when he won $390,444 playing “Carolina Cash 5.” His winning ticket matched all five numbers in the July 12 drawing. The calm and collected man from Townsville told NCEL officials he is still deciding what to do after depositing his check in the bank. Terry purchased his winning ticket, worth $265,502.24 after taxes, at RJ’s Country Store on NC Highway 39 North in Townsville.
The NCEL today presented Serena Paddock of Durham the keys to a new 2009 Harley-Davidson® Fat Bob® motorcycle! Paddock is the latest to receive the motorcycle prize on the NCEL’s Harley-Davidson® game. Paddock purchased her ticket that she entered into the June 10 drawing at Duke St. Family Fare #214, 3804 N. Duke St. in Durham.
The NCEL will conduct the sixth and final Harley-Davidson® Fat Bob® motorcycle second chance drawing on July 22. (Entry deadline was July 15.) The NCEL also will award 345 Harley-Davidson® merchandise prize packs in the drawing!
