SCHOOL CUSTODIAN CLEANS UP ON $61,609

Timothy Newman of Staten Island, Richmond County is the latest winner of the New York Lottery’s Take Five game, winning $61,609 for matching all five numbers on the Friday, June 26th drawing.

Newman, a father of two, works as a school custodian. “I’m going to pay for my children’s college student loans,” Newman said of his plans for his prize.

Newman matched just two numbers to receive a Quick Pick Free Play ticket, which turned out to be his winning Take Five ticket. He received his winning ticket from Pumpkin & Danny’s on Bay St. in Staten Island. The Take Five numbers for Friday, June 26th were:

2 – 19 – 23 – 24 – 37
