NEW JERSEY SELLS TWO WINNING $250,000 TICKETS AS MEGA MILLIONS ROLLS TO $16 MILLION

TRENTON, NJ – Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players have won the Mega Millions second prize of $250,000 for the Friday, July 10 drawing. Both of the winning tickets were sold in Passaic County . The first winning ticket was purchased at Richfield Liquors, located at 1362 Clifton Avenue in Clifton . The other lucky ticket was sold at Shoppers Discount Liquors, located at 744 Hamburg Turnpike in Pompton Lakes.
“Congratulations to Richfield Liquors and Shoppers Discount Liquors ,” said the Lottery's Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain. “ For selling these winning tickets, they will each receive a bonus check for $500. They have become two of the Lottery's most recent ‘lucky locations' overnight.”
While there was no top-prize winner, 44,736 other New Jersey players took home $286,478 in prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000, according to Jourdain.
The winning numbers for the Friday, July 10 drawing were: 05, 10, 26, 27, and 28 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 04. With no winner of the top prize, the Mega Millions jackpot will roll to $16,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held on Tuesday, July 14 at 11:00 pm on NJN-TV –the New Jersey Network.
