BCLC GIVES SAM STEELE DAYS VISITOR GOLD MEDAL TICKETS

Richmond, B.C. – Allan Johnson of Cranbrook is the latest winner of gold medal tickets to the 2010 Winter Games. While visiting the BCLC 2010 Winter Games Dome at Sam Steele Days, Johnson entered his name into the ballot box to win the pair of gold medal 500m Speed skating tickets.
"I can't believe it, I'm so excited," exclaimed Johnson. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd get to attend a gold medal event. The Olympic Winter Games are right around the corner and I can't wait."
This summer, the BCLC 2010 Winter Games Dome is travelling to festivals around the province, sharing the excitement of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and giving one lucky winner in each community a pair of gold medal event tickets and guaranteeing the much sought-after accommodations.
"It's exciting to give someone tickets to the 2010 Winter Games. Attending an Olympic Games is an experience that will last a lifetime," said Michael Graydon, BCLC President & CEO. "BCLC is extremely proud to be a part of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and give people the chance to win tickets through community event contests and SportsFunder lottery games. Mr. Johnson can now enjoy the excitement at the gold medal 500m Speed skating event next year."
As an Official Supporter of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, BCLC is helping send British Columbians to gold medal events like the ice hockey, figure skating and speed skating during the 2010 Winter Games.
