MEGA MILLIONS PLAYERS MATCH 5 NUMBERS FOR $250,000

CLEVELAND - A resident of Stone Mountain, Georgia walked her way into a win. Bonita Walker won $250,000, a second-tier prize, for matching five numbers in the May 26, Mega Millions’ drawing.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Walker will receive a check for $172,500.

She purchased the second-tier prize winning ticket from The Wine Barrel, 6649 Mayfield Road in Mayfield Heights. She used auto lotto. The winning numbers were 9-18-21-37-55. The mega ball number was 33. The Wine Barrel receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a second-tier prize winning ticket.

Romaine G. Cable of Cincinnati won $250,000 for matching all five numbers in the 5-26-09 Mega Millions’ drawing also.
