FIVE BIG WINNERS IN COLUMBUS

COLUMBUS - Five players in the Columbus area filed claims for prizes on various Ohio Lottery games. Gary M. Johnson of Harrisburg won $429,000 for matching five numbers in the June 19, Rolling Cash 5 drawing. Jessica I. Schrader of Perrysville won $20,000 on the $300 Million Extravaganza. Thomas E. New II of Columbus won $10,000 on $1,000,000 Double Lucky Times 10. Connie J. Scholz of Marengo won $10,000 on Stacks of Cash. Wanda J. Jones of New Albany won $10,000 on $300 Million Extravaganza.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Johnson receives $296,010. Schrader receives $13,800. New, Scholz and Jones will each receive a check for $6,900.
Johnson purchased the winning Rolling Cash 5 ticket from Ameristop Food Mart. He picked the numbers. The winning numbers were 10-14-26-31-32. Ameristop Food Mart, located at 5503 Norton Road in Grove City, receives a $500 agent bonus for selling a winning ticket.
Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has raised more than $16 billion to support K-12 education across Ohio. The Lottery’s fiscal year 2008 transfer to the Lottery Profits for Education Fund was $672.2 million.
