ESSEX AND MIDDLESEX COUNTY WIINNERS SPLIT $76,800 JERSEY CASH 5 JACKPOT

TRENTON, NJ – The two owners of Jersey Cash 5 jackpot tickets that were sold in Essex and Middlesex Counties have split the top prize of $76,800 for the Jersey Cash 5 drawing held on Thursday, June 18. Each winning ticket is worth $38,400.
Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain said the winning tickets were the only two sold for Thursday's drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 10, 16, 36, 38 and 40.
The Essex County ticket was purchased at Express D.L.O., located at 99 Route 46 West in Fairfield . The Middlesex County ticket was sold at Beckers News Market, located at 46 Main Street in South Rive .
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Express D.L.O. and Beckers News Market, ” said Acting Executive Director Jourdain. “For selling these tickets, each of these businesses will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, these retailers have become two more ‘lucky locations' for some very fortunate winners.”
Jourdain also noted that 2,305 other players won $65,880 in cash prizes in the drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 70 players won cash prizes of $558.00 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 2 ,235 players won $12.00 each.
