COLUMBUS MAN WINS $50,000 PLAYING CROWN JEWELS

Jeffery Mielak of Columbus won $50,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Crown Jewels from the Nebraska Lottery.

Meilak purchased his winning Crown Jewels ticket at Cuzzin's Corner, 1118 8th Street in Columbus. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $50,000.

There are two $50,000 top prizes available in Crown Jewels. Meilak is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

Crown Jewels is a $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $818,000 in cash prizes from $5 to $50,000. The odds of winning $50,000 playing Crown Jewels are 1 in 120,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
