EASTON COUPLE WINS INSTANT KENO $25,000 TOP PRIZE

(Baltimore) – An Easton couple came to Lottery Headquarters on Tuesday to claim their $25,000 prize after scratching off a winning Instant Keno ticket. “I’m speechless,” the lucky man said. “I can’t stop shaking.” The 66-year-old man purchased the ticket last week for his partner.
For her, the satisfaction of out-winning him was even more exciting than winning $25,000. “We have a sort of contest going,” she said. “Every night we tally up our scratch-off winnings and see who is ahead. He was beating me, but now I’m in the lead.”
The two, who have been together for almost 30 years, said they will use the winnings to pay bills and buy more scratch-offs.
The winning ticket was purchased at East End Liquors, located at 2 East Ave. in Easton. There are four $25,000 top prizes remaining on the $3 Instant Keno scratch-off.
