ATLANTA – A Newnan grandmother received a present of her own on her granddaughter's birthday, thanks to the Georgia Lottery. Lois Huskey, 77, won a $6,000 top prize playing 7-11-21, a Georgia Lottery instant game.
"I did not believe it," she said.
Huskey purchased the winning ticket at BP Food Mart, 101 Greison Trail in Newnan, on her oldest granddaughter's birthday.
"I'm tickled over that," the grandmother of three said.
With her $6,000 prize, the retired cashier anticipates getting dental work, a pair of new glasses and paying off bills.
