Washington, D.C. – For today’s DC-4 mid-day drawing, the winning numbers were 2-2-2-2, a lucky combination for hundreds of D.C. Lottery players.
At the agency’s Claim Center, the line is out the door as DC-4 players start off the week with a big hit. Sales on the winning combination totaled $95,575.00, while the D.C. Lottery will pay out $2.1 million in prizes to its players. To accommodate all of the winners, the Claim Center will remain open until 6 p.m. The normal business hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and the Claim Center is located in the Frank D. Reeves Municipal Center at 2000 14th Street, N.W., Lobby Level.
Executive Director of the D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board Jeffrey “Jay” Young congratulates all of the winners. “This is fantastic. Lots of people are winning with the D.C. Lottery,” says Young before reminding players to immediately sign the back of their tickets. Young also asks for players to be patient with the claiming process. “When the D.C. Lottery has a big hit like this one, we have quite a few people claiming their prizes at the same time. Everyone has to go through the same process, so we ask that you bring the proper identification, which will assist us in validating your prize.”
