CARS, CARS, CARS ON “MAKE ME A MILLIONAIRE”
May 23, 2009
SACRAMENTO - The California Lottery's TV game show, "Make Me a Millionaire," awarded $142,500 in cash and prizes to 12 lucky contestants this week.
All three contestants on this week’s Lucky Penny game segment won a new car, the Limited Edition California Jetta made by Volkswagen. Two of the contestants – Ralph Georgi of Red Bluff and Theresa Pasqualino of Tarzana – are repeat Lottery game show winners, having each won big money on “The Big Spin.” The cars are each worth $30,000.
Michael Cunningham of Rocklin – playing as a proxy for his wife, Karen – was very excited to appear on the show, and also came away with a new car. They said they are looking forward to possibly appearing on the show again, to relive the “fun experience.”
