CASH AND CARS ON “MAKE ME A MILLIONAIRE”
May 30, 2009
SACRAMENTO - The California Lottery's TV game show, "Make Me a Millionaire," awarded $123,000 in cash and prizes to 12 lucky contestants this week.
Jesus Rodriguez, a machine operator from Reseda, won $20,000 on the Safe Cracker segment. Rodriguez, who is originally from Spain, described his experience on the show as “exciting, but nerve-racking.” He plans to put his prize money into savings.
Two contestants – George Warda of San Jose and Stanley Ginn of Richmond – won a new car, the Limited Edition California Jetta made by Volkswagen. The cars are worth $30,000 each.
