BCLC GIVES CLOVERDALE RODEO VISITOR GOLD MEDAL TICKETS

Richmond, B.C. – Chilliwack resident Helen Elliot is the latest winner of gold medal tickets to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. While visiting the BCLC 2010 Winter Games Dome at the Cloverdale Rodeo, Elliot entered her name into the ballot box to win the pair of gold medal 500m speed skating tickets and accommodation.
"I can't believe it, I'm so excited," exclaimed Elliot "Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd get to attend a gold medal event. The 2010 Winter Games are right around the corner and I can't wait."
This summer, the BCLC 2010 Winter Games Dome is travelling to festivals around the province, sharing the excitement of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and giving one lucky winner in each community a pair of gold medal event tickets and including the much sought-after accommodations.
As an Official Supporter of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, BCLC is helping send British Columbians to gold medal events like the ice hockey, figure skating and speed skating during the 2010 Winter Games.
"It's exciting to give someone tickets to the 2010 Winter Games. Attending the Olympic Games is an experience that will last a lifetime," said Michael Graydon, BCLC President & CEO. "BCLC is extremely proud to be a part of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and to offer people the chance to win tickets through community event contests and SportsFunder lottery games."
After the summer provincial tour the Games Dome will find a home at Richmond's Live site where it will remain for the duration of the 2010 Winter Games.
