COLUMBUS MAN CLAIMS WORLD POKER TOUR PRIZE
May 15, 2009
Casey Short of Columbus has claimed $11,500 from a Scratch game called World Poker Tour® Texas Hold ‘Em. Short bought his winning ticket from Town Pump located at 602 8th Avenue North in Columbus.
Casey initially won an all expense paid trip to a World Poker Tour® Boot Camp Event but chose to take the cash value of the trip, $11,500 instead. He said he plays scratch games occasionally and was surprised when he won. “It’s hard to believe,” he added.
WPT® Texas Hold ‘Em is a $5 game. The game still has one trip to a Boot Camp Event left in the game as an instant prize, and another offered through a second chance drawing at www.montanalottery.com. The game also has a top prize of $50,000 still available in the game as an instant win prize.
