LANSING - Five lucky finalists who will participate in a drawing for $2 million will be selected by the Michigan Lottery on Thursday, June 4.

The finalists will be chosen from those players who win $1,000 on one of the Lottery's $20 Instant tickets: "$35,000,000 Riches", "Casino Fortune", Multi-Millions", "Casino Royale", $2,000,000 Diamond Dazzler", and "Lucky Game Book". Claims of $1,000 prizes made before the close of business on Tuesday, June 2 will qualify for the drawing. In order to claim a $1,000 prize, winners must redeem their ticket at a Lottery regional office or licensed bank claim center.

Finalists will be notified by phone that day and also by US mail.

Players who redeem $1,000 prizes after that date will be eligible for the next $2 million drawing, which will be conducted this fall.

The grand prize drawing will be conducted at the Parade Company's official Target fireworks party in downtown Detroit on Wednesday, June 24. The drawing will be televised live on WDIV Detroit Local 4 immediately following the fireworks.
