Michael Szymezak of Worcester became the latest instant millionaire when he won the grand prize on the Ruby Red 7’s game from the Massachusetts State Lottery. He received his first of 20 annuity checks for $50,000 before taxes today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree.
He bought the lucky ticket at Plantation Street Shell in Worcester. The service station will receive a $10,000 commission in the sale.
