FORT WAYNE TRUCK DRIVER WINS $500,000!

INDIANAPOLIS – Michael Root of Fort Wayne cried wolf one too many times. His friends know him as a prankster, so when he started telling them he won $500,000 in the Hoosier Lottery last Friday they refused to believe him.
"I'm a certified, born-again smart%$&," said the Fort Wayne man. "I even sent a picture of the ticket and they wouldn't believe me!"
Root purchased his lucky $500,000 Riches Scratch-off ticket at Circle K #2248 at 2304 Sherman Blvd. in Fort Wayne. He claimed his prize on May 1.
He admits he was so nervous about waiting overnight to cash his ticket that he actually slept with the ticket in his hand.
He plans to use his winnings to buy a new car, help his three daughters and start savings accounts for his ten grandchildren.
The Hoosier Lottery reminds all players to please play responsibly.
