TALLAHASSEE--The Florida Lottery today announced that MAXIMUM MILLIONS Scratch-Off game winner Luis Aguilar Jr., 23, of Hialeah, claimed the $1 million top prize at Florida Lottery headquarters.
According to Aguilar, he doesn't play Florida Lottery games often, but said when he does; he prefers to play the $20 Scratch-Off games. "I so was excited I couldn¿t believe it and still can't," he said. Aguilar purchased his winning ticket from LGF Enterprises Inc., located at 4002 W. 12th Avenue in Hialeah.
The $20 Scratch-Off game, MAXIMUM MILLIONS, launched on July 14, 2008, and features more than $190 million in cash prizes. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.96. Three of twelve $1 million top prizes still remain to be won. Tickets may be purchased at any of the more than 13,000 Florida Lottery retail locations.
