Congratulations to Peggy McKenna of Holyoke who today claimed a $10 million prize in the Billion Dollar Blockbuster instant game. McKenna, shown here with Lottery Executive Director Mark Cavanagh, daughter Joan, husband John, daughter-in-law Lynn and daughter Veronica, took home the first of 20 annuity payments of $500,000 before taxes. She bought the lucky ticket at R & R Variety on Sargeant Street in Holyoke. The store will receive a $50,000 commission on the sale.
The Billion Dollar Blockbuster instant game debuted in September of 2007 and offers over $1 billion in cash prizes and the largest instant ticket prize in the nation: $1 million a year for a lifetime.
