LOCUST GROVE TRUCK DRIVER WINS $233,000 FROM FREE TICKET

ATLANTA – A Locust Grove truck driver has struck a lucky lottery win. Mark Akin, 43, won the $233,352 jackpot from matching all five winning numbers in the March 26 Fantasy 5 drawing.
Because Akin matched two of five winning numbers from a previous Fantasy 5 drawing, he won a free Quik Pik ticket. He received his free ticket at Xpress Food Store, 2630 Highway 42 S. in Locust Grove, for the March 26 drawing.
Winning numbers in the March 26 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 7-17-22-33-38. The father of two found out about his lottery win when he went back to the store.
"I was numb," he said. "I told my wife, and she couldn't believe it."
The couple have no immediate plans for their lottery win.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning top prize Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Xpress Food Store will receive a $6,000 retailer incentive bonus.
