ENID NURSE WINS $30K PLAYING POWERBALL WITH POWER PLAY

Oklahoma City – Mitchell Jump, an Enid nurse, turned a $10,000 Powerball win into $30,000 with the addition of Power Play.
“It would be crazy not to play the multiplier. It’s just a dollar!” said Jump, who received his winning numbers through Easy Pick.
Jump has played the Oklahoma Lottery since it began and he tries to play every draw. He purchased his winning ticket at Hutch #114, 3206 S. Van Buren, in Enid. He regularly stops at Hutch because it’s conveniently located and has a variety of snack and deli options.
For now, Jump plans to put his money in the bank.
“I may pay off a little debt,” he said. “It’s a nice cushion. I have no big plans and it’s not yet hit me that it’s real.”
Jump plays the Oklahoma Lottery knowing that its proceeds help support Oklahoma education.
“I think it’s great,” he said. “We’re a pro-education family and it’s a good investment in our future.”
