DAILY 4 BRINGS BIG MONEY TO INDY RESIDENT
March 24, 2009
INDIANAPOLIS – An Indianapolis couple reaped the benefit of placing multiple wagers on Sunday's 6 6 6 6 Daily 4 numbers. Lena Tibbs and her husband, French, wagered $30 on 6-6-6-6 Sunday. They took home $150,000 before taxes.
They purchased their ticket at King Petroleum, Inc. on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in Indianapolis.
Lena says she plays the numbers 6-6-6-6 because they represent the date of her mother's death on June 6, 1966.
In the Daily 4 game 6-6-6-6 is a popular number combination with players. Sunday, when the numbers 6-6-6-6 were drawn, 187 wagers paying $5,000 each matched the numbers.
