$1M LOTTERY WIN TO SPRUCE UP SPRING FOR ACWORTH MAN
March 27, 2009

ATLANTA – An Acworth interior decorator has won a spectacular million-dollar Georgia Lottery prize. Charles Skipworth, 45, won a $1 million top prize playing The Georgia Lottery's Millionaire Mania instant game.

Skipworth spent the week in Columbus redecorating his mother's home. Thirsty from his labor, Skipworth stopped at Shell Food Mart, 5700 Warm Springs Road in Columbus, where he purchased the ticket and a drink.

"I had to look at it three times," he recalled. "I couldn't believe it. I'm still in shock."

According to Skipworth, he has no immediate plans for his lottery win.

"This lottery win will sure help pay for the paint," he quipped. "My mom's house is looking good."
