FRIDAY THE 13TH TICKET WORTH NEARLY $150,000 CLAIMED

SACRAMENTO – Friday the 13th turned out to be a lucky day for a 90-year-old Southern California retiree. The woman – who requested anonymity – claimed her ticket worth $149,529, which was purchased for the March 13 MEGA Millions draw.
The ticket will be lucky for local charities as well, as the woman plans to donate some of her winnings to the American Cancer Society and possibly other organizations.
The ticket was purchased at the Stater Bros. located at 1055 West Foothill Boulevard in Claremont.
