MONTREAL HAS A NEW MULTIMILLIONAIRE THANKS TO LOTTO 6/49

Mr. Lucien Nault of Montréal was the sole winner of the March 4 Lotto 6/49 jackpot, pocketing the tidy sum of $16,889,976! Having played three Double Jeu 49 combinations, Mr. Nault had the shock of a lifetime when he compared the very first combination to the results printed in his newspaper. His first reaction was to shout out to his partner, Carole de la Durantaye, to come into the kitchen. She thought there might be a printing error and went over to her convenience store to get a copy of the results. All she had to say when she returned was, "We still won!" The winner experienced powerful emotions in the moments immediately following the news: "Even if we don’t want to cry, well, we still cry. And even if we are certain we have won, well, there is always a persistent doubt." To cap it all off, Mr. Nault went over to the convenience store himself, but this time just to have the ticket validated.
The new multimillionaire has no shortage of projects. In particular, he wants to spoil his dear ones and purchase a new home in which he intends to install the best billiard table that money can buy.
