POST OFFICE EMPLOYEE GETS A WIN FOR LIFE SPECIAL DELIVERY: $52,000

When Benny Warden of Manassas played the Virginia Lottery’s Win For Life game, he said he selected his numbers based on his senses. Those senses were pretty lucky in the March 7 drawing. His ticket won $52,000.
He bought the winning ticket at Bloom, located at 9121 Centreville Road in Manassas.
His ticket matched five of the first six numbers plus the Free Ball number to win the game’s second highest prize. The winning numbers for that drawing were 10-19-22-29-31-35 and the Free Ball number was 13.
Mr. Warden, who works for the U. S. Postal Service, told Lottery officials he intends to use his winnings to help pay off his mortgage and car loan.
Win For Life offers a top prize of $1,000 per week for the life of the winner. Drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11:00.
