ELGIN RESIDENT WINS $1 MILLION!

COLUMBIA, SC – Good news spreads fast! Word of a winning $1 million ticket sold in Elgin is sweeping the streets of the small Kershaw County town.

White Pond Food N Beverage in Elgin sold the lucky ticket worth $1 million. The Carolina Millionaires Club instant ticket was scratched by an Elgin resident inside the store.

The winner, who does not wish to be identified, said the first thing that came to mind.

“Can I buy your store?” the winner joked.

“No, it’s not for sale,” replied the retailer.

White Pond Food N Beverage received a 1 percent bonus for selling the claimed ticket.
