MOORE RESIDENT CLAIMS $200K POWERBALL TICKET

Oklahoma City – The mystery is over and the lucky winner has come forward. Erin Sturch of Moore has happily claimed the $200,000 winning Powerball ticket from Saturday’s drawing.
Sturch has played the Lottery since it launched. She purchased her winning ticket at the Homeland at 1100 W. Main in Norman.
“I receive email alerts of the winning numbers on my phone and I was out with friends on Saturday night when I received the email,” she said. “I’ve played the same numbers for a long time so I immediately knew I had won.”
Sturch chose her own numbers by using family member birthdays and the age of her parents when Powerball came to Oklahoma. The first call she made was to her mother to find out the dollar amount she had won.
“I know now to always play Power Play,” said Sturch. She missed out on the chance to turn her $200K win into a $1M win because she declined the multiplier option for $1.
Sturch plans to use her winnings toward paying off bills and then invest the remaining amount. Since her mother is a teacher, she said she loves that the Lottery helps support Oklahoma’s education.
With no plans to quit playing the Lottery, Sturch said she’ll keep on going and maybe win again. She said what’s important is that you “don’t stop believing.”
