THREE WINNERS CLAIM IN COLUMBUS

COLUMBUS - Three players of Ohio Lottery games have filed claims for their prizes. Paula A. Groper of Columbus had one of two winning tickets, winning $50,000 for matching five numbers in the 2-13-09 Rolling Cash 5 game. Connie S. Garnes of Galloway won $10,000 on the $300 Million Extravaganza instant game. Willis A. Springer of Chillicothe won $15,000 on Merry Money Tripler.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Groper receives a check for $34,500. Garnes receives $6,900. Springer receives $10,350.
Groper purchased the winning ticket from Nielsen’s Stores, 375 S. High Street in Columbus. She picked the numbers. The winning numbers were 3-5-7-12-24. Nielsen’s receives a $500 bonus for selling a winning ticket.
Garnes purchased the winning ticket from The Kroger Company, 5965 Hoover Road in Grove City. Springer purchased the winner from Certified Oil, 1350 N. Belmont Avenue in Springfield.
