ATLANTA – A Loganville computer programmer has decoded a lottery win. Melissa Bailey, 44, matched all five winning numbers in the Feb. 8 Fantasy 5 drawing and won a $409,235 top prize.
BP Super Shop, 2050 Highway 81 in Loganville, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket. Bailey discovered she’d won after calling the Georgia Lottery's Player Information Hot Line. Winning numbers from the Feb. 8 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 10-24-28-37-39.
"I couldn't believe it," she said. "I woke my husband and shared the good news. We both feel great."
She and her husband, Dim, have a 14-year-old son.
The couple intend to make home repairs and will invest the remainder.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning top prize Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. BP Super Shop will receive a $10,000 retailer incentive bonus.
