ALBUQUERQUE – Hollie A. Thomas of Roswell claimed a $100,000 prize from the New Mexico Lottery Monday.
The 54-year-old aircraft painter won the first of three $100,000 prizes from the lottery’s “Wild 10s” Scratcher game. Thomas, a frequent Scratcher player, purchased the lucky ticket Saturday at Allsup’s Store No. 155 at 6111 S. Main St. and Air Base Gate in Roswell. This lottery retailer has sold 14 other large prize-winning tickets ranging between $1,000 and $21,000. Thomas plans to pay bills with his prize.
Also in January, Roswell residents Brian Cole claimed a $5,000 prize while Frank Determan and James Hill claimed $1,000 each. The three prizes were from Scratcher games.
