NEW JERSEY SELLS ONE WINNING $250,000 TICKET AS MEGA MILLIONS ROLLS TO $50 MILLION

TRENTON, NJ – One lucky New Jersey Lottery player has won the Mega Millions second prize of $250,000 for the Friday, January 30 drawing. The winning ticket, which was sold in Monmouth County , was purchased at Kwik Farms, located at 590 Shrewsbury Avenue in Tinton Falls.
“Congratulations to Kwik Farms ,” said the Lottery's Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain. “ For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $500. They have become one of the Lottery's most recent ‘lucky locations' overnight.”
While there was no top-prize winner, 45,604 other New Jersey players took home $196,637 in prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000, according to Jourdain.
The winning numbers for the Friday, January 30 drawing were: 13, 16, 19, 53, and 55 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 02. With no winner of the top prize, the Mega Millions jackpot will roll to $50,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held on Tuesday, February 3 at 11:00 pm on NJN-TV - the New Jersey Network.
