INDIANAPOLIS – The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, Jan. 28 is an estimated $30 million since none of the tickets sold for the Saturday, Jan. 24 Powerball drawing matched all six numbers. The numbers drawn Saturday evening were: 6, 20, 25, 37, 42 and the Powerball was 25. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
There were 22,695 secondary Powerball prize winners in the State of Indiana, including 4,457 who doubled their winnings by adding the Power Play for an extra dollar.
The winning Hoosier Lotto numbers Saturday, Jan. 24 were: 17, 25, 26, 37, 42 and 47.
The jackpot is now set at an estimated $6.5 million for the Wednesday, Jan. 28 drawing.
There is an unclaimed Mix & Match prize from Sept. 30. The $200,025 winning ticket was sold from Thornton's #401 in Lawrence. The last date to claim the prize will be March 27, 2009.
Two Powerball prizes remain unclaimed: One $200,000 ticket was sold from Save-A-Step in Memphis for the Dec. 17 draw. The Powerball jackpot from Jan. 17 also remains unclaimed. The estimated cash prize for that prize is $97,966,541.99. The winning ticket was sold from Mac's in Lawrenceburg.
Players have 180 days from the date on the ticket to claim a Hoosier Lotto or Powerball prize. The Hoosier Lottery reminds all players to play responsibly.
