IDAHO LOTTERY CONTINUES SUPPORT OF COLLEGE OF SOUTHERN IDAHO ATHLETICS
January 23, 2009
Boise – The Idaho Lottery announced today their ongoing support for the College of Southern Idaho Intercollegiate Athletics. The unique partnership includes promotional considerations and signage opportunities for the current basketball season.
“I am pleased we will be able to continue our support of Eagle Athletics for the 2009 and the 2010 seasons,” said Idaho Lottery Director Jeffrey R. Anderson. “The Lottery and the College of Southern Idaho have worked collaboratively for over 5 years, developing a strong relationship that remains beneficial for our players and Idaho’s communities.”
Details of the partnership include Idaho Lottery signage on the steps at the College of Southern Idaho Gym along with the creation of dynamic basketball promotions like the one currently running in the greater Magic Valley.
Idaho Lottery players (who must be over the age of 18) who bring a $3 or more non-winning Lottery scratch ticket to the game can receive $3 off a general admission ticket and will be entered into a prize package drawing for great Lottery gear. This promotion is good for all five of the remaining home games in the Eagles basketball season, starting with the game tomorrow night against rival Salt Lake Community College. The first drawing will be conducted during the game Saturday night, January 24, 2009 against SLCC.
The final drawing will be held during the game on February 27, 2009. In addition to the Lottery prize package, one lucky fan will win the opportunity to sit on the Eagles bench during the final home game of the season on February 28, 2009 against Northwest Colorado Community College.
“We always refer to our corporate partners as just that, partners,” said Joel Bate, College of Southern Idaho Athletic Director. “We believe this partnership creates a unique and mutually beneficial opportunity for the Lottery and the Eagle athletic department that will have long-term success for all parties and the Magic Valley community.”
