RELIEF FOUND IN HARD ECONOMIC TIMES

Olympia — Seong Yi of Spanaway, who plays the Lottery when he’s feeling lucky, decided to try his chances at Hit 5 during a recent trip to his local Fred Meyer. Good thing, because the feeling paid off! Yesterday, Yi was hoping for the best when he checked his Lottery ticket and couldn’t believe when he was told that he had just become the most recent winner of Washington’s Lottery. “I’m still amazed!” exclaimed Yi. “I just can’t believe it.”
Seong Yi’s first call was to his brother who at first thought he was joking about winning. “My brother said ‘yeah, okay’ when I told him I had won and said that he needed to see proof!” laughed Yi. Seong, like many other recent Lottery winners, can now breathe a little easier during these tough economic times. He said his $335,000 winnings will allow him the opportunity to pay off many of his bills. He also hopes to take a trip to Korea soon.
