VIETNAMESE IMMIGRANT LIVING OUT HIS DREAM WITH $1,000,000 NEW YORK LOTTERY WIN

Schenectady, NY – Forty-four-year-old Richard Bui immigrated to the United States from Vietnam twenty-seven years ago hoping to live the American dream. Now, the former entrepreneur from Lancaster, Erie County, has a $1,000,000 Lottery prize to help him realize his dream.
The father of five said he has been playing the Lottery for roughly five years. “I like to play all the games, Mega Millions, Lotto and Scratch Offs,” Bui said. “This ticket happened to catch my eye so I bought two of them. The second one turned out to be the big one!”
He claimed his $1,000,000 prize on Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Lottery Customer Service Center in Buffalo. He will receive 20 annual payments of $50,000, or $34,075 after required tax withholdings.
In addition to retirement Bui plans to pay off the mortgage on his house and save for his children’s education.
Bui purchased his winning $500,000,000 Extravaganza ticket on November 13, 2006 at Richard Food Mart on East Delevan Avenue in Buffalo. In addition to the 84 prizes valued at $1,000,000 each, the $500,000,000 Extravaganza game, priced at $20, offers eight prizes valued at $5,000,000 and 12 prizes valued at $2,000,000 along with numerous other prizes in the range of $20 to $5,000.
