MAPLEWOOD RESIDENT WINS $50,000 POWERBALL® PRIZE
January 15, 2009

Jay Libby of Maplewood won $200,000 by playing Powerball. The first line of his five-line quick-pick ticket matched the first five numbers drawn on Jan. 10 to win the $200,000 prize.

SuperAmerica, located at 11 S. Century Ave. in Maplewood, sold the winning ticket.

The winning Powerball numbers on Jan. 10, 2009 were 8-10-18-43-56 and the Powerball was 9.

Powerball prizes worth $200,000 from the following drawings are currently unclaimed: Feb. 13, 2008 (sold in Stearns County) and Nov. 8, 2008 (sold in Aitkin County). Players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim all prizes.
