STOCKING STUFFER NETS $1 MILLION PRIZE
December 26, 2008

When David Couto’s mother stuffed his holiday stocking with a $20 Billion Dollar Bonanza instant ticket, little did she know she was giving him the gift that keeps on giving, a $1 million prize. David Couto of Little Compton, Rhode Island- shown here with his father David- came to Lottery headquarters today to claim his $1 million prize and took home the first of 20 annuity payments of $50,000 before taxes.

The Billion Dollar Bonanza instant ticket was sold at the Cumberland Farms located at 809 Main Street in Westport. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
